🌤️ Light

Prefers bright to medium indirect light. The silvery variegation is most striking in brighter conditions. Avoid direct sunlight, which can bleach and burn the leaves, and very low light, which dulls the silver markings.

💧 Water

Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil are dry, roughly every 1–2 weeks. Always check before watering — this plant prefers to dry out slightly between drinks. Reduce frequency in winter.

🌡️ Temperature

Thrives in temperatures between 65–85°F (18–29°C). Keep away from cold drafts, air conditioning vents, and temperatures below 60°F (15°C).

🌫️ Humidity

Enjoys moderate to high humidity (50% or above). Mist occasionally, use a humidifier nearby, or place on a pebble tray with water to keep it happy.

🪴 Soil & Potting

Use a well-draining potting mix with added perlite to prevent waterlogging. Repot every 1–2 years in spring when roots begin to crowd the pot.
